At the recent presentation day, Jackson was recognised for reaching 200 Murray League games this season after also playing his 200th senior game for the Finley Football & Netball Club earlier this year.
He was also one of four Cats to poll three votes for the season in the senior football.
While the Cats didn’t have any other award winners on the day, they produced several top 10 finishers across the different grades.
Charlotte Fleming was the highest place vote getter, finishing third in the league’s under-17s netball.
Lillian Baker (equal eighth) and Milena Sneddon (equal ninth) also finished in the league’s top 10 of the under-17s.
The highest placed finishers in the under-15s netball were Emilee Sneddon (equal eighth) and Addison Baker (equal tenth).
Chelsea Kennedy was the other top 10 vote count getter finishing third in the under-13s netball.
Other top vote getters in the football included Angus Urquhart (equal eighth) and Noah Brindley (tenth) in the fourths, and Spencer Hawkins (equal ninth) in the reserves.
As well as polling votes, there were also a number of locals in the Murray League Inter-league representative teams selected earlier in the year across the grades recognised on the Sunday.
The top 15 Finley Cats players for each grade are as follows:
Football:
Reserves: Spencer Hawkins 9 votes (9th place), James Kennedy 5 (13), Reece Simmons 4 (14), William Doolan 3 (15).
Thirds: Harry Daniel 6 (15), Samuel Hurlston 6 (15).
