Blues lose midcourt maestro

Midcourter Reid pulled the strings between the goal circles as Tonny made the grand final this year.

Such was her influence the Blues, her home town club, also awarded her their best-and-fairest.

But clearly the lure of rejoining the Magpies was too strong, where she won a premiership in 2024.

The hole Reid leaves will need filling, either internally or with a signing from elsewhere.

Tongala has yet to announce recruits this off-season.

The only A-grade-related news has been the re-signing of coach Abby Pettifer, who next season will be joined by assistant coach Jac Elborough.
