Blighty’s under-15s took on Dookie United at Tocumwal on Saturday in a hard-fought elimination final.

While the result saw their finals campaign end, the team showed determination and never gave up until the final whistle.

Dookie United made the stronger start, building a five goal lead and putting us under early pressure.

The Blighty girls fought their way back into the contest, working hard across the court and showing great resilience.

The team continued to challenge every contest and put together some excellent passages of netball.

Their effort and commitment were outstanding as they continued to fight for every ball.

Unfortunately, despite their best efforts, Blighty were unable to develop a lead before the final whistle.

While the result was disappointing, the girls can be incredibly proud of the way they fought right to the end.

They can look back on the season knowing they gave their all and continued to grow both individually and as a team.
