Blighty Public School have once again had a relay swimming team qualify for the school state swimming championships.
This is the second year in a row that a relay team has made it to the state level from Blighty.
The four students - Andrew, Samuel, Reuben and David - participated in the 50m freestyle relay.
The team came third at the zone swimming carnival at Leeton on March 11, which provided qualification to the state championships.
Blighty Public School principal Leanne Hedt said the team has gained a lot of support at the school.
“We are excited at Blighty Public School to be sending four of our students off to the state championships this year, to compete in the Small Schools relay team.”
“Last year, all the students cheered them on at school as they gave it their all.”
The students are multi-talented across sports, with Andrew and David also participating in Australian Football representative trials.
