Jerilderie
Last Monday was the second round of WRDGA East Ladies Pennant with Jerilderie Ladies travelling to Deniliquin and it was a great result for Jerilderie with a 2-1 win against Deniliquin. Jerilderie have the bye this week.
The final round of club championships was contested last Sunday.
Congratulations to 2024 Men’s Club Champion Dave Hercus and 2024 Ladies Club Champion Suz Graham.
Men’s Grade winners were: A-grade Dave Hercus, B-grade Michael Pitt and C-grade Bill Williams. Ladies Grade winners were: A-grade Denise Boland, B-grade Suz Graham and C-grade Gina Simpson.
Sunday daily comp winner was Bill Williams 92/25/67, r/u Suz Graham 92/24/68.
Ball comp: Di Rutherford and Craig Heath. NTP: 7th Ian Taylor, 10th Geoff Portbury, 13th Luke Keating, 15th 2nd shot Larry Dowling, 16th Craig Heath.
Wednesday comp format will be Medley Stableford. Sunday is Guest’s Day, 9 Hole Medley Ambrose 10am for 10.30am tee-off with barbecue lunch. All members are encouraged to bring a friend/s and/or family members to enjoy the inaugural guest’s day at the club.
Monday is the fourth round of the WRDGA East Ladies Pennant with Jerilderie v Deniliquin in Jerilderie.
The Ian Sneddon MND Day will be held Sunday, June 23, a four person Ambrose for both handicap and non-handicap players and also Barefoot 2 Bowls Triples for all bowlers.

Big Freeze contestants include Al Nicholls, Mitch Goddard, Gina Simpson and Heidi Bryce.
Finley
This week’s ladies golf was the Southern Riverina Scents Stroke Event, won by Tess Dean with 71 net. Ball comp: Julie Gregory, Kellie White, Anne Harding, and Janet Delmenico who all had 72 net. Putting: Anne Harding with 25.
The day was Round 2 Ladies Championships. In A-grade, Bobette Wilkinson with a two round total of 174 took over the lead and is now two shots in front of Kellie White. In B-grade, Sue Simpson with 196 claimed the lead with Janet Delmenico holding on to second place with 198. Anne Harding after back to back rounds of 99 held her lead with 198 with Karen Litchfield in second place on 210.

Stableford was played by the Men on Wednesday, won by Ian Litchfield 38 points. Ball comp: Mick Schwabe 37, Mark Robertson 33, Billy Smith 32 and Linsday Donkin 31. NTP 18th Andrew Tregeagle.
Jacob Smith with 20 stableford points won the 9 hole competition on Thursday. Ball comp: Rand Wilson 19, Trevor McCaw 18.
On Saturday the men played stroke and the women played stableford for Nutrien Ag Solutions trophies. Men’s A Division winner was Matt Daniel with 73 net, B Division Simon Fuller 73 net, C Division Jacob Smith 74 net. Women’s winner was Janet Delmenico with 31 points. NTP: 18th Trevor McCaw; 13th Janet Delmenico. Ball comp: Trevor McCaw 74, Ian Litchfield 74, James Peck 75, Marty Piggin 75, Wayne Peasley 75, Leo McNamara 75, Billy Smith 75, Rory Doyle 76 and Leanne Marshall (Black Bull) with 28 stableford points.
The day was also round one of the 2024 Men’s Championships and Matt Daniel with 77 gross leads the Open Division, Simon Fuller leads B Division with 86 gross and Billy Smith leads C Division with 96 gross.
On Sunday the men again played stroke and the women stableford with Ashley Haynes Butchery providing the trophies. In the daily competition the A Division winner was James Peck with 70 net, B Division Marty Piggin with 73 net, C Division Billy Smith on 73 net. Tess Dean with 34 points won the Women’s Division.
NTP 18th Trevor McCaw. Ball comp: Tony Smith 74, Ian Litchfield 74, Leo McNamara 74, Andrew Tregeagle, Andrew Harding, Trevor McCaw, Matt Whelan, Mark Robertson, and Douglas Smith all with 76, and Karen Litchfield with 29 points for the women.
At the end of the second day of the championships James Peck on 159 gross took over the lead in the Open Division, Ian Singleton with 176 gross leads B Division, and with Billy Smith with 190 gross leads in C Division.
Berrigan
Friday's winner was Brad Vale (48-15-33), runner-up was Jeff Stein (46-10.5-35.5).
Joe Karakai won the putting with 15 putts and was also a ball winner (45-9-36), along with Steve Senini (48-10.5-37.5).
Saturday's winner was Joe Karakai (46-9-37), runner-up was Jeff Stein (47-10-37).
Joe also won the putting with 11 putts and ball winner was Spike Salter (59-20-39).
Sunday's winner was Doug Cameron (81-14-67), runner-up was Alan Arnold (90-16-74).
Puting was also won by Cameron with 27 putts.
This Sunday is men’s 4 ball stroke championship, arrange your own partner.
If you’re not playing the championship, the competition will be stroke.
