Sunday was the last round of the Men’s Championship, with beautiful weather conditions enjoyed by all golfers.

A-grade Champion for 2023 was Matt Whelan, B-grade Champion went to Lachlan Whelan and C-grade Champion went to Joe Nicholls.
The winner of the day was Nick Manley (82-9-73), and runner-up was Paul McVicor (95-22-73).
Ball winners were Chris Cameron (79-5-74) and Lachlan Whelan (91-15-76).
Chris Kelly won the putting with 25 putts.
On Friday, Wayne Crew was the winner (57-18.5-38.5), and runner-up was Joe Nicholls (49-10.5-38.5).
Ball winner was Lachlan Whelan (47-8.5-38.5), who also won the putting with 14 putts.
Saturday’s winner was Joe Nicholls (47-10.5-36.5), and runner-up went to Beau Walliss (46-9-37).
Ball winner was John Walker (51-13.5-37.5), and putting was won by Beau Walliss.
The grounds team are in need of a golf buggy.

On Tuesday, July 11, the ladies played a charity stableford 4BBB for the Royal Women’s Hospital, sponsored by Amair Hair, on the president’s course.
Winners were Anne Beveridge and Faye Miller on 44 points, with Linda Forsyth and Jill Collins runners-up on 41.
Gold Division was claimed by Jan Campbell and Mary McMahon with 34 points.
NTPs: 2nd Nat Beard, 8th Anne Beveridge, 14th Patricia Small, 18th Nat Beard.
On Wednesday, July 12, the men played stableford on the captain’s course from the blue tees.
It was great to see Neville ‘Nifty’ Attrill winning Division 3 with a good score of 38 points.

Division 2: Stephen Conrick 36 points; runner-up David Webb 36 points; third Clinton Knight 34 points.

Last week’s Wednesday stroke event sponsored by Azalea Lifestyle was won by Janet Delmenico with 74 net.
Janet also took the honours in putting with 29 putts.
Ball competition winners were Kerrie Carlon and Maree Doyle, each with 77 net.
On Wednesday, stableford was played by the men for the Country Club Hotel/Motel Trophy.
Colin McNamara came home the winner with 38 points.
Paul Pinnuck 36, Ryan Donkin 36, Ian Armer 33 and Steve McRae on 32 points were winners in the ball competition, and Steve McRae was NTP on the 18th.
There was a handy turnout at the nine hole competition on Thursday when stableford was played on the front nine.
Matt Daniel, after countback on 19 points, came home the winner.
Julie Gregory 19, Ian Armer 16, and Steve McRae on 15 points were winners in the ball competition.
Saturday was the R and T Anderson Stroke Day.
Men’s Division winner was Jacob Smith on 71 net.
The Ladies Division winner was Kath Klemke, also with 71 net.
After countback, Sue Simpson’s 31 putts saw her take out the ladies putting competition.
NTP on the 18th was Colin McNamara.
Ball competition winners were John Taylor 73, Colin McNamara 74, Rand Wilson 76, Paul Pinnuck 76 and Sue Simpson who had 78 net.
The Hong Loch Chinese Restaurant stableford event was played on Sunday.
Wayne Peasley came out the winner of the Men’s Division with 37 points, and Janet Delmenico has 35 points to win the Women’s Division.
Joanne Dean was NTP on the 13th, and on the 18th it was Wayne Peasley.
Ball competition winners were Trevor McCaw 36, Paul Pinnuck 36, Kevin Tengstrom 34, Lindsay Donkin 33, and Tess Dean who finished with 32 stableford points.
