Sunday was the first round of Wilson Cup, and the winners were Joe and Judy Karakai with 44 points.

Runners-up were Mary Polkinghorn and Rob Singleton on 43 points, and ball winners were Sandy Moar and Jeremy O'Dwyer on 40 points, Alan Arnold and Maria McDonnell on 39 points, Matt and Heather Daniel on 38 points, Matt and Marianne Whelan on 38 points and Greg Collier and Diane Rutherford on 38 points.
After the first round, Berrigan are on 124 points, Finley 117 points and Jerilderie on 113 points.
The next round is to be played at Jerilderie on May 2.

Wednesday's winner was Maria McDonnell (55-20-35), and runner-up was Dave Homan with 35 nett.
Paul McVicor won the putting with 14 putts, and ball winner was Jeff Stein with nett 35.5.
Friday's winner was Maria McDonnell (54-20-34), and runner-up was Joe Nicholls (46-10-36).
Jeff Stein won the putting with 13 putts, and ball winners were Brendan Haintz 36.5 nett, Sandy Moar 37 nett and Judy Karakai 38.5 nett.
Saturday's winner was Gail Browne (43-7-36), with the ball going to John Walter on 36.5 nett and Jeff Stein winning the putting with 13 putts.

Monday’s 9 Hole Comp was an 18 hole competition for the Victorian long weekend.
A-grade - Kellen Lemesurier 40, Matthew Healey 38, Richard Hazeltine 36; B-grade - Timothy Arklay 40, Blaz Rakas 39, Nicole Barber 38.
Tuesday Women’s Comp was played as nett on the North course.
Overall and monthly medal winner was Nicole Barber on 71.
A-grade - Maxine Sadler 76, Alison Botting 77, Sharon Pyle 78; B-grade - Rhonda Constable 69, Sue Hanna 73 C/B, Christine Hadland 73 C/B; C-grade - Nicole Barber 71, Glenys Ladner 72, Kerry Guille 73 C/B.
The Wednesday Men’s Comp was Stableford on the South.
A-grade - Michael Taylor 40, Adam Purtill 37, Malcolm Hart 35 C/B; B-grade - Clinton Knight 38, Brian Morgan 37, David Ford 36 C/B; C-grade - Graham Owen 41, Peter Small 36 C/B, Lawrence Deering 36.
On Saturday we had our Mixed Foursomes qualifying round and a medley stableford.
Mixed Foursomes: A-grade - Emily Ford & Peter Taylor 66.5, Robert Burns & Joan Burns 69.5, Patricia Small & Brett Molnar 71.
Medley: A-grade - Glen Hyde 44, John Bradbury 39, Rod Smith 37; B-grade - Gary Mott 38 C/B, Rod Brown 38, Suzanne Herbison 37 C/B.

Men’s: A-grade - Michael Peters 69, Ronny Huy 71, Peter Bolt 72 C/B; B-grade - Bruce Cavanagh 72, Stuart Campbell 73 C/B, Neil Bull 73; C-grade - Matthew Miller 68, Tom Ranken 76, John Dye 78 C/B.
Women’s: A-grade - Michelle Purtill 73.
Finley
Tess Dean, with 36 points, was the winner of the women’s stableford competition last Wednesday.
Ball winners were Joanne Dean, Deborah Pyke, and Maree Doyle all with 35 points, and Tricia Jackson 33 points.
NTP on the 13th was Tricia Jackson.
In the men’s stableford, the winner was Mark O’Brien with 34 points.
Ball winners were Simon Thompson with 33 points, Colin McNamara and Bill O’Connell both with 32 points.
NTP on the 18th was Tim Price.
Thursday’s 9 hole competition winner was Trevor McCaw with 19 points, and ball winners were Rodger Sutton and John Taylor with 18 each.
For anyone interested in playing in the Thursday 9 hole stableford competition, tee times are from 3pm until 5pm.
Groups will be drawn from those present at the club at 3pm, or organise your own group (if playing later) and ring the club to let the starter know.
In Saturday’s stableford, the men’s winner was Sel Corcoran with 39 points.
Ball comp winners were Tony Smith and Rob Klemke with 36 points, Rob Daniel 35 points and Rob Singleton with 34 points.
The women’s winner was Linda Rendell with 35 points and ball comp winner was Helen Wastle with 32 points on C/B.
Men’s NTP on the 18th was Tony Smith.
Sunday’s medley competition was won by Jason Pyle with 36 points on C/B.
Ball winners were Simon Fuller and Grant Shaw 36 points, and Colin McNamara 35 points on C/B.
Trevor McCaw was NTP on the 18th hole.
Three Finley pairs also travelled to Berrigan for the first round of the Wilson Cup.
The next round to be played at Jerilderie on May 2.
Jerilderie
Midweek golf was a medley stroke and putts event, which was won by Julie Sleigh with a nett 73. Runner-up was Jenny McAllister with nett 76.
Putting was also won by Julie Sleigh and NTP on 13th was Jenny McAllister.
Sunday was a medley stableford, won by James Mitchell with 34 points on a count back from Lee Rowan.
It was a smaller field due to the golfers competing in the Wilson Cup, which was played at Berrigan.
