Berrigan lost the toss and were sent in to bat.
After a couple of overs young Evan Lawton took the first wicket for the Demons, and it wasn’t long before Dan Eldridge (2/36) struck the front pad and sent the batsman walking.
Later in the innings Cameron Arnold took 3/41.
Berrigan’s Luke Melville (55) was best with the bat and at 40 overs the Saints had piled on 8/175.
The Demons came in with a strong attitude to chase this total with the skipper Rory Knight (60) putting on a show.
However, wickets were falling fast with runs being tough to get.
They were all out for 112, well short of the required total.

The young Dees hit the road to take on Tocumwal in their final match of the summer, and they made sure to finish their season on a high note.
Bowling first, Jerilderie were eager to keep things tight early. The bowlers delivered just that, with Koa Billing leading the charge. In a standout spell, Billing claimed two wickets in just two overs, setting the tone for a disciplined team performance.
The energy in the field matched the intensity with the ball. The young Dees were sharp and switched on, producing several impressive run-outs while also saving valuable boundaries to restrict Tocumwal’s scoring opportunities.
Their efforts limited the home side to 59 runs in a strong all-round bowling and fielding display.
Chasing the modest total, Jerilderie’s openers got the innings off to the perfect start. Both batted with patience and composure, playing straight and placing a high price on their wickets as they remained unbeaten.
Franky Bryce then provided the fireworks, thrilling teammates and spectators alike with three sixes in a row in a classy display of power hitting.
Wilba McGuiness also impressed with the willow, contributing valuable runs to keep the scoreboard ticking over.
Jerilderie finished with a commanding total of more than 130, capping off a dominant performance in their final outing of the season.
It has been an impressive first season for this talented group, who have shown remarkable growth, teamwork and sportsmanship across the summer.
With performances like this, the squad will be hopeful of progressing to the next grade when cricket returns next season.
Jerilderie’s presentation night is on March 11 at the Sports Club at 6.30pm. All welcome.
