Losing the toss and being sent out to field, Exies were up to the task with a solid start, only losing their first wicket for 42.
Exies went into drinks only two down for 75, and things looked like getting out of hand.
But in the first over after drinks, Sam Strachan struck twice with two stumpings off his bowling.
This resulted in a succession of regular wickets right up until the 40th over, to have Exies 9/150.
When it came Coly’s time to bat, Luke Roberts and Sanilchowdary ‘Sunny’ Chilukuri were sent in and were solid for the first few overs until Roberts fell for four.
Skipper Jacob Breed came to the crease and put on a great partnership with Chilukuri, getting Coly to 84 right before drinks.
Just before that drinks break, Breed fell for 36, for a score of 2/89.
Cooper Smith fell not long after drinks, leaving Coly at 3/102.
Shaun Iddles came to the crease to assist Chilukuri, before succumbing himself to a short one and leaving Coly at 4/130 with 21 to get.
Chilukuri then fell for a well-made 65, leaving Coly at 5/133.
Sam Casey and Luke McWhirter eventually got the Nomads over the line with three overs to spare.
