Head teacher for support and wellbeing Alex Hay said the day was a resounding success, bringing together students from Years 7 to 12 for a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and impressive performances.
This year’s event featured a slightly modified schedule from previous years, which added a fresh dynamic to the day.
The highlight of the carnival was the announcement of the age champions and placegetters, which were as follows:
12 year-old boys - Hudson Daniel.
12 year-old girls - Jordan Desailly, 1; Miley Palmer, 2; Charlee Gow, 3.
13 year-old boys - Jordan Swann, 1; Archie Chellew, 2; Zavier Rorato, 3.
The school would like to thank the Finley Recreation Reserve for use of the grounds and the outstanding facilities, and the Finley Little Athletics Club for their ongoing assistance.
The school also thanked Jo and Pat Kelly and Ken Gardner for provided “exceptional support” to ensure the carnival ran seamlessly.
