The weather gods turned on an impressive weather display last Friday.
In Jerilderie, after a sunny start, thunder rolled in accompanied by strong wind, and rain.
Pelting hail created a winter wonderland for a little while before it all eventually melted away. Welcome to spring!

Jerilderie Hospital Auxiliary will be holding a raffle stall this Friday, September 5, outside IGA, from 9am.
Money raised will be used for the care and comfort of patients and residents of our MPS.

The Services NSW mobile unit will be back in Jerilderie on Wednesday, September 24, at Memorial Park from 9am to 3pm.

Both Jerilderie primary schools have enjoyed successful Book Week activities, with a lot of thought and inspiration going into costume production, for the Book Character parades.

Jerilderie Public School recently hosted the children from the Early Learning Centre at a Teddy Bears’ Picnic, which involved ‘going on a bear hunt’, among other exciting things.
At the recent Zone Carnival held on Friday, August 22, the school was represented by Jett, Charlie, Amity, Lincoln, Stephanie and Leah, who gave their best efforts, displaying good sportsmanship and support to one another.

St Joseph’s School recently enjoyed a trip to Melbourne for the Musical ‘Annie’.
Preparations are under way for First Reconciliation, on Sunday, September 14, prior to Sunday Mass. This will be followed by the reception of First Holy Communion for three students, Koa, Marlee and Jobe, at the 8.30am Mass on Sunday, September 21.
Mrs Keisha Marshall has been welcomed back from her family holiday adventure, and Mrs Andrea Prinsloo has joined the St Joseph’s School staff, replacing Mrs Lucy Gregory for two days a week until the end of the year.
