Oodies, monster claw slippers, and bed hair are not common sights in the playground at St Michael’s School Deniliquin, but Friday was a special day.
The school hosted its annual PJ Day, which raises money for and awareness of homelessness in the community.
Students, staff and parents enjoyed a barbecue breakfast in the playground to start the day.
For the honour of wearing their PJs, students made a monetary donation.
They also brought in items to donate to the Winter Appeal, including clothing, bedding and non-perishable food items.
All donations will be utilised by the St Vincent de Paul and Vinnies Services to support district community members who need extra support.
