Many travellers took advantage of the opportunity to take a break from the busy roads and were keen to have a chat and learn something about the local community.
Seth Lawrence from Barooga called in to catch up with Bill Rowlands on Monday morning, having spent the weekend here with his girlfriend Mikayla Simpson and attending the very successful rodeo.
Bill is the main organiser of the Driver Reviver under the auspices of the Lions Club and has been carrying out this role for many years.
He is delighted to have a few new volunteers involved this time and will always welcome anyone who would be interested in taking part.

The Finley Rodeo proved to be very successful and drew many visitors to the town on Easter Sunday.
Preparations began early in the week and involved many local organisations in various ways.
It is events such as this that highlights to many great facilities the town has to offer.
Well done, everyone who was involved.

Another reminder of the presentation ‘Unlocking Hope No. 6 – Understanding Dementia’ which will take place at the Finley RS Club on Thursday, April 11 – 10.15am for a 10.30am start.
The Berrigan Shire Dementia Alliance has engaged guest speakers Kylie Titlow and Helen Lewis who will seek to clarify the mysteries of My Aged Care Home Care packages and help those attending to better understand how to use them to advantage.
Everyone is welcome, An RSVP to 5883 9600 would be appreciated but is not essential.

Finley Hospital Auxiliary hosted the Murray Region Forum on March 22.
The United Hospitals Auxiliary state president Sally Cronberger attended, as did treasurer Dee Hunter.
Deputy president and regional representative Pam Ellerman attended from Deniliquin, and 10 auxiliaries from the Murray region were represented.
Guest speaker Syd Dudley, spoke about the future of the Finley hospital.
Other guest speakers, Alison Luelf and Nola Pinnuck, spoke on dementia.
The Finley Auxiliary raises funds for the local hospital through the op shop and thanks must go to the generous community for donations and support.
