Vehicle rollover requires airlift

The Mid Murray Rural Fire Service reported the driver, a 21 year-old woman, was trapped in the vehicle.

Her passenger, a 23 year-old man, was reportedly ejected from the vehicle.

Police said both sustained “critical injuries”.

“The crash site was closed for some hours as crash investigators attended and examined the scene,” Murray River Police District Detective Chief Inspector Michael Fuller said.

“The investigation into the crash is ongoing.”

Also providing assistance at the scene was Fire + Rescue NSW and NSW Ambulance.
