The charity car rally will specifically stop by Finley Public School, where more than 250 colourful characters in more than 80 classic cars will meet with staff and students.
The rally organisers will make a special grant presentation to the school as part of the day.
It is one of 13 schools on the rally route this year that will share in $65,000, to help fund educational resources, and playground and sporting equipment.
The other major beneficiary of the rally is Variety - The Children’s Charity.
As Variety celebrates its 50th year in Australia, this 11-day, 3600km journey across NSW, Victoria and South Australia aims to raise $1.5 million for children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with a disability.
The convoy departed from Bomaderry on Sunday, and is now travelling through the iconic Australian outback before returning to Blacktown on Wednesday, August 13.
From Scooby Doo and M&Ms to Star Wars and Avengers, each Bash vehicle is uniquely themed – bringing colour and joy to every stop along the way.
Variety – the Children’s Charity NSW/ACT CEO, Tony Warner, said the Bash is about fun, friendship and making a lasting impact.
“The Variety Bash is about having fun with purpose. Every kilometre travelled and every costume worn helps us to deliver life-changing grants, programs and events to the kids who need it most, especially those in remote and regional areas,” he said.
“We’re incredibly lucky to have a passionate Bash community – some of whom have been with us for over 30 years – supporting Variety’s vital work which opens doors to improved mobility and freedom and unlocks the potential of every child.”
