“Oh, what joy for those whose disobedience is forgiven, whose sins are put out of sight. Yes, what joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of sin.” (Romans 4:7-8 NLT).
In this scripture, King David describes the joy we experience when we come into a right relationship with God.
There is nothing we can receive or achieve in this lifetime that can come close to the joy we experience when we understand all of our sins have been forgiven.
When we come to the knowledge of God’s love for us - knowing the God, who created the heavens and the Earth, loves me personally - it brings us overwhelming joy.
This lifetime we are given on Earth is like the blink of an eye in comparison to the eternity we will spend with the Lord.
The purpose of the time we have been given is to primarily discover who Jesus is, and then to live to bring glory to His name.
Only God can give our life true meaning and purpose.
We all have a significant role to play in God’s story.
Oh, what joy it is, when we can live our lives to fulfil the plans and purposes of God.
