The 2022 Tocumwal Gold Cup Easter Races will be held on Saturday, and is set to be another great event.

Gates will open at 11am with an entry fee of $25 per person, which includes a race book.
Aged pensioners are $15 and free those under 16 years of age.
Catering and a bar will be available, and patrons are reminded that there is strictly no BYO.
Baldwin’s Buses to the Tocumwal Easter Races will be running in a loop from 11.30am to 1pm, departing from The Farmer’s Arms’ Hennessey St bus shelter, Tocumwal Police Station bus shelter, the Terminus Hotel, and opposite the Boomerang Way Caravan Park.
Pick up is also available from Happy Hours Caravan Park at 11.30am and 12.30pm.
The Murray Riverside Caravan Park bus will leave at noon, Bushlands and Tocumwal Golf Course at 11.30am and 12.30pm.
Buses will leave the racecourse, returning to town, at 5pm after the last local race.
Flood relief
The Rotary Club of Tocumwal is supporting the Lismore Flood Disaster Relief by donating 100 per cent of sales of sales over Easter to the affected residents of Lismore.
All money raised through sales and donations will be donated to and distributed by the Rotary Club of Lismore.
If you have been looking for a way to show your support of the thousands of people displaced by the floods, then consider supporting this initiative by local Rotarians.
The store has a wide variety of goods for sale and though they are closed on Good Friday, they have extended their opening hours over the rest of the Easter long weekend.
Anzac Day parade
The Tocumwal RSL Sub-Branch will once again conduct an Anzac Day parade in 2022.
The club is well supported by local organisations, schools, and associations, which will see in the order of 400 people march.
Last year it was estimated that 2000 people watched as they lined both sides of Deniliquin Street.
The main street of Tocumwal will be closed for the march which commences at 10.45am with the Murray Border Flying Club also conducting a flyover.

Students from our local schools are encouraged to don their school uniforms and join the march.
Groups will meet at the Big Fish on the foreshore in preparation for the march off at 10.45am.
Memorial Hall open days
Tocumwal War Memorial Hall is holding open days on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday 17.
The open days will run from 10am to 2pm.
Have you ever wondered what is behind the doors of the hall?
Now is your chance to go and have a look.
There will be free entry on Easter Saturday and Sunday, with a couple of displays to suggest uses for the hall and information about the history of the hall.
A committee member will be in attendance to discuss any questions you may have, plus the fees and charges associated with hire of the Hall.
Library activities
Tocumwal Library has a great school holiday program planned to help keep the kids busy.
Tomorrow will be filled with fun Easter activities, and Thursday, April 21 will be dedicated to Anzac Day crafts.
Sessions start at 10.30am and all children are welcome.
Egg-citing hunt
Tocumwal Ice Creamery at holding an egg-citing Easter egg hunt on Sunday.
The hunt will start at 1.30pm in the Ice Creamery Garden.
