It will be a depository of the gliding adventures of Ingo and the many people who shared the joy of flying with him.
It is a page of honour and respect, where everyone still gets to be a part of the gliding story that has come from the voices of the many.
The page will be open for a few months and collated together to present to Ingo’s family, and towards an Ingo Renner memorial collective for future gliding generations.

If anyone is unpacking bubble-wrapped parcels and don’t have a need for it, Lynne George at Tocumwal Antiques would appreciate it for use as packaging.
Tocumwal Antiques and Tea Room is open daily from 10am if you have some to drop off.
When looking for Lynne’s opening hours, I read that the building housing her wonderful shop was built in 1860 as the former General Store.
It was then restored extensively and reopened in 1982 by Lynne’s mother, Elaine Bate, where it now serves fresh coffee and cakes, and is home to an incredible collection of antiques, collectables, books, and gifts.
Such a wonderful piece of history.

Jamie Haynes and Trigger Performance have arranged an incredible fundraiser ‘Effort for Esme’ in support of a local family which has endured so much when bringing their daughter, Esme, into the world.
On Friday, March 4, little Esme came into the world at Wodonga Maternity Ward and was not breathing.
The staff worked tirelessly for hours to get her breathing and stable, and when they did, Esme was flown to Sydney, without her parents.
Her parents were able to get up to Sydney on March 8 to reunite with Esme.
The condition of Esme’s heart and brain will continue to be monitored as it is unknown how long she was not breathing for.
In support of the Wodonga Maternity Ward, Trigger Performance is running a 4x4x48 Challenge on Thursday, March 31 from 6am.
The 4x4x48 challenge consists of running four miles (6.5km), every four hours, for 48 hours. Funds raised by this event will go to the Wodonga Maternity Ward.
Trigger Performance has t-shirts available for purchase for adults and children, with a range of amazing local sponsors on them.
Donations are also accepted — Account name: Esme Fund; BSB: 082356; Account number: 248994395.
If you want to show your support by joining the 4x4x48 challenge, get in touch with Jamie on 5874 3251 or via social media.

The revamped CWA park next to Tocumwal Library opened last week, just in time for the Victorian Labour Day weekend.
The project was funded by the NSW Government under the ‘Everyone Can Play’ program and Berrigan Shire Council, and features play equipment aimed towards inclusivity of all abilities.
The play equipment is well-suited to young children and has a gorgeous outdoor theme, including toadstools and a dragonfly slide.
There has been new grass laid, and trees planted that will grow into great shade along with the new shade sails.

Preparations are in progress for the 2022 Biggest Morning Tea, and Julie Stava has put a call out for donations for the plant table.
Julie already has a little collection of ceramic, terracotta and plastic pots.
She says some wooden boxes for presentation, a few old cement ‘50s pots, a tyre swan and a few garden gnomes will add wonders to the display.
Potting mix, seeds, plants, and fertiliser donations are also appreciated, as it takes a lot to get those flowering winter annuals to perfection on the day of event, with weeks of watering and attention for such a good cause.
To get in touch with Julie Stava, call 0408 648 494.
