It was a fantastic day with all students showing admirable sportsmanship, encouraging and supporting each other throughout the event.
Ten of these students placed in the top four in their age group and will progress to the Riverina Cross Country in Gundagai on Thursday, June 12.
And to top it all off, Tocumwal Public School was the winning school, accumulating the most points on the day from the zone schools and once again coming home with the shield.
Good luck to the students travelling to Gundagai next week.

Tocumwal Sacred Heart’s ‘Little Hearts Playgroup’ was delighted to receive a generous donation from the Tocumwal Community Op-Shop recently.
Heidi McGrath, facilitator of Little Hearts, has since purchased a 2.75m tunnel and a toddler kitchen set with healthy food.
The new items were well received by the group’s Little Hearts.
These purchases will be used in conjunction with the music, stories, games and learning activities from 9am to 11am every Wednesday during the school term.
It is also a great chance to connect with other local parents.
