A big thank you to the Tocumwal Community Development Committee (TCDC) for organising and hosting the Kids Gone Fishing Day last weekend.
Hold tight - we’re checking permissions before loading more content
Held on Saturday, it proved a fantastic morning at the boat ramp, complete with a sizzling sausage barbecue and plenty of fish being caught from the levy bank.
Every registered child left the event proudly holding their own fishing rod and tackle box.
Next up on the TCDC calendar of events is the Carols on the Foreshore which will be held on Sunday, December 21 from 7pm.
Jade Camden will be headlining the festive carols once again, joined by the Solomon Island Choir and local performers.
Make sure you arrive early with your chairs and picnic rugs and don’t forget your mozzie spray.
Santa will be dropping in to say hello and the winners of the Christmas Lights competition will be announced.
To register your home for the lights competition, email your name, phone number and address to tcdc2714@gmail.com before Friday, December 19.

Starting off with Rumba, you will be able to dance confidently at your next club visit or party and these classes can significantly enhance fitness levels and memory and are great for social connection. Classes are open to couples and singles of any age.
