The arrest was made about 2pm yesterday, after the fire was started about 5am, and confirmed by NSW Police Force this morning. He was bail refused to appear in Albury Local Court today. Wednesday, August 21: Police are appealing for information following what they have determined to be a suspicious house fire in Tocumwal. Emergency services were called to the home at 5am today. Fire + Rescue NSW attended and extinguished the blaze about an hour later. The fire caused significant damage. There was no one home at the time. Officers attached to Murray River Police District responded and established a crime scene. Anyone with CCTV or information is urged to come forward and contact Albury Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
