It was an amazing day where the students participated in activities they selected, supported by the staff and some very talented parents.
The day started with pats and cuddles of the beautiful animals from Red Lilly Farm in Deniliquin.
The students then headed to their chosen elective after recess.
These included cooking with Kate Murray, Tessa McNamara, and Tess Dean, ably assisted by Miss Carter and Miss Kate; fishing with Simon Healy, Jono Cattell, Dan Harris and Mrs Cattell; art and craft with Steph Price; scent mixing with Rachel Brindley; music with Mrs Brook; or sport with Mrs Phelan.
The students and staff were very thankful to the parents who volunteered their time and shared their talents, to make the day such a memorable and enjoyable experience for the students.
Their help and support were so appreciated, and the students said it was the best day ever!
The staff and students would like to thank Mrs Phelan for organising the petting zoo, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all (especially the animal-loving teacher herself).

No doubt the trailer load of wood raffled by the Finley Lions Club members is well sought after with the current cold weather.
The members deserve full credit for sitting out in the cold selling tickets in the current cold weather.
Winner of last Saturday’s wood was Glen (surname not provided).
