Volunteers from both of Finley’s fire services responded when a fire was reported at the Finley cemetery on Monday.
Units from the Finley Rural Fire Service and Finley Fire + Rescue NSW attended with a pumper each.

They arrived about 3pm, shortly after the emergency call was made, and had the fire contained with in fifteen minutes.
Captains from both brigades confirmed the fire was a routine clean-up burn which broke containment.
