The Shepparton Malayalee Association held its annual Multicultural Talent Show on Saturday, June 13 at Riverlinks Eastbank in Shepparton.

The event celebrated Shepparton’s multicultural community, with a focus on the Malayalee community, who originate from the south-Indian state of Kerala.
More than 750 attendees enjoyed the performances, which covered a wide range of cultures, traditions and artistic expressions.
The event received support from Greater Shepparton City Council and was sponsored by Cirillo Builders, Goulburn Motor Group and Future Loans.
SHEMA president Antony Jones thanked the community and sponsors.
“We are proud to provide a platform where people from different cultural backgrounds can come together, share their talents and celebrate the diversity that makes our region so vibrant,” he said.
SHEMA launched its new website during the event. It provides a platform to connect communities, promote events and support multicultural engagement.
Some performers were supported by live music from traditional drummers.
