The start of March has seen steady downpours over much of Victoria.

Shepparton Airport recorded 33mm of rain in the 24 hours to 9am on Monday, March 1, with a further 21mm falling between 9am and noon.
This exceeds the total rainfall received for February, which was 31.4mm.
The historical mean rainfall for March over the past 30 years for Shepparton is 33.9mm.
The Bureau of Meteorology has issued a severe weather warning for Shepparton, Seymour, Echuca and surrounding areas.
The ‘stay alert’ advice message warns of heavy rainfall, which may lead to flash flooding.
