Traditional attractions such as the horse ring competitions and the judging of poultry, sheep and cattle will be complemented by plenty of family-friendly fun such as sideshow alley, scarecrow decorating, the Hay-Ho Animal Nursery, free face painting, local musicians, the children’s pet parade, junior showgoers and more.
Adding a little star power will be the inclusion of the Lexus Melbourne Cup tour.
Tickets to the show are $15 per adult, $5 for aged pensioners and children aged 10-16, and children under 10 years old may enter for free with a paying supervisor.
Membership tickets can be purchased from the Berrigan Show Office at the showgrounds until 5pm on Friday.
All entrants will also be given a ticket in the lucky gate prize draw, with the winner receiving two nights in a premium cabin at Kismet River in Howlong. The prize will be drawn at 4pm.
Berrigan Show Society president Neville Dalgliesh applauded the hours of work put in by the committee, the community and volunteers to put together what is sure to be a great day.
“I would like to once again thank all our wonderful sponsors, without their generous support we would not be able to run our show,” he said.
Special guest at the official opening, to take place at 12.30pm, will be The Land Sydney Royal Agshows NSW Young Woman 2025 Cassandra Bush.
Gates will be open to the public at 6am, with the pavilion opening at 10am and closing at 4pm.
