Road closed due to fire in Greater Shepparton

Vic Emergency released a ‘stay informed’ advice message at 2.19pm to residents of Bunbartha and Tallygaroopna, as well as those attempting to travel on Barmah-Shepparton Rd.

It stated that the fire is under control and that is currently no threat to communities, but that Barmah-Shepparton Rd was closed at Medland Rd while crews attend to the fire.

Smoke is visible from nearby roads and communities.

Roads should be kept clear where possible in the area.
