Hosted by Riverina Merino, this year’s expo will feature 10 Riverina host studs and 19 guest studs, including nine new exhibitors.
The event continues to grow, with organisers adding an extra marquee to accommodate strong interest from breeders across the region.
Guest speaker Craig Wilson, convenor of the Australian Merino Production Trial, will share insights on sheep condition and merino production, while visitors can browse wool and sheep trade displays throughout the day.
Organiser and Elders district wool manager, David Wilson, said the event builds on last year’s success.
“We’ve had a lot of interest and great support again this year,” he said.
“I think everyone involved is very excited.”
To add to the excitement, a $2500 lucky door prize will be drawn, redeemable at a host stud of the winner’s choice.
The day will be fully catered, and 28 trade sites have been confirmed for the day so far, filling out the Conargo Rec Reserve.
