Winner of the air fryer was Glenda McCullough, the beautiful hand crotched rug was won by Heather Daniel, and Joanne Dean was delighted to win the homemade fruit cake.
The organisers have reported that well over $2000 was raised, a large part of which came from selling raffle tickets at Finley IGA.
They would like to express their sincere thanks to management for allowing Can Assist the use of the premises.
This amazing group of volunteers has worked so hard over the past 12 months supporting local people, physically and financially, during their journey with cancer and would like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
“We would not be able to give the support needed by residents in the Berrigan Shire without the Finley and surrounding communities’ support,” Pat Radford said.

Water safety and confidence received a major boost recently, when Finley’s St Joseph’s Primary School’s Kindergarten to Year 2 students plunged into intensive swimming lessons at the Finley Pool.
The crucial program, designed to equip young learners with essential water survival skills, was made possible thanks to vital community support.
The initiative was significantly supported by generous funding secured from Murray Irrigation and instructed by ISECO Swim School.
This crucial financial assistance has ensured the program remains accessible, helping to reduce costs for families and making sure every K-2 student has the opportunity to participate.
The aim of the lessons goes beyond just swimming technique; teachers reported a noticeable improvement in students’ confidence and comfort levels around water.
"Many of our youngest students begin the lessons feeling nervous, but by the end they are not only safer but much more confident, which is the ultimate goal," said a program coordinator.
Local parents and teachers praised the collaborative effort between the school, the pool management, and Murray Irrigation, highlighting the importance of this safety education in a region surrounded by waterways.
This partnership is ensuring the next generation is better prepared for life around the water.

The Finley Post Office, schools and the community as a whole made it possible for a great number of hampers to be distributed in the local area.
