Pyjama day warms up at Edward Public

Edward Public School students embraced the winter chill week, by turning up in their pyjamas for a Year 6 fundraiser.

It brought colour, laughter and plenty of movement to an otherwise foggy morning.

Pyjama Day proved an instant hit, with students arriving rugged up in dressing gowns, slippers and cosy sleepwear as the fog settled over the school grounds.

The relaxed theme set the tone for a day of fun, with Year 6 students leading a series of activities across all breaks.

Children lined up to “put the slippers on the child”, a spin on pin the tail on the donkey, while others tested their throwing skills in the pillow toss to see just how far their cushion could fly.

The balloon battle drew enthusiastic crowds as friends faced off in light‑hearted duels, and the dance party kept energy high with music and movement.
