It was great to see Rod Booth and Caleb Bovalina playing in our men’s competition on Wednesday last week.
Caleb has recently just turned pro and won Division One with seven under par and 42 stableford points.

Division 2: Lachlan McDonald 35 points, runner-up Murray Chapman 32 points, third Sam Singleton 32 points.
Division 3: Adam Nalder 36 points, runner-up Greg Lawlor 36 points, third Garry Haberfield 35 points.
NTPs: 2nd Julie O’Brien and Lachlan McDonald, 8th Bobette Wilkinson and Ray Watmore, 14th Ray Watmore, 17th Lynne Parry and Ben Kerr.
Sunday was par on the president’s course from the white tees. Only one player, Ricky Bourke, shot a plus score of +1.

Finley
With the return of the sun, a big field turned out for the Close Engineering 4BBB Stableford Event.
After a three way countback, the winners were Sue Simpson and Marian Ayres with 43 points.
NTP: 13th was Kerrie Carlon.
Ball competition winners were Kath Klemke and Enid Bain and Helen Wastle and Janet Delmenico, each with 43 points.
Doug Smith, with 34 points, came home the winner when the men played stableford on Wednesday.
Martin Cruickshank was NTP on the 18th.
Mark Newton 32, Marty Piggin 32, and Rob Klemke on 31 points were winners in the ball competition.
Again, there was a handy turnout at the Nine Hole Competition on Thursday when stableford was played on the back nine.
Rodger Sutton was the winner with 18 points, and Mary Polkinghorne and Rob Hawkes - who each had 16 points - were winners in the ball competition.
The numbers at the Finley Quality Meats Friday Meat Tray event received a boost when the Logie Brae Men’s Group joined the field for the day.
John Taylor had 39 stableford points to be winner of the Golf Club Division, with Lindsay Donkin’s 35 earning the win in the Logie Brae Group.
Ball competition winners were Marty Piggin 35, Rob Daniel 33 and Billy Smith who had 30 stableford points.
On Saturday, the Taylor and Whitty Mixed Two Person Ambrose event was played as the first qualifying round for the 2023 NSW Keno Let’s Play Ambrose.
With 65 net, Helen Wastle and Ian Swain came home the winners.
Mary Polkinghorne and John Taylor, after countback on 67 net, were runners-up.
NTPs: on the 18th was Kevin McCumstie, and on the 13th it was Sharon Pyle.
The remainder of the field received ball competition trophies for the day.
A big field of golfers turned out for the Baldwin’s Buses Stroke Event on Sunday.
David Cordell, with 69 net, came out as the winner of the Men’s Division One, with Cu Priuljith on 65 net claiming Division Two.
After countback, Sue Simpson’s 73 net was claimed the Women’s Division.
NTP on the 18th was Rory Doyle and the ladies putting was picked up by Helen Wastle with 25 putts.
Ball competition winners were Kevin Tengstrom 70, Chick Braybon 70, Ian Swain 71, Rick Harris 72, Mary Polkinghorne 73, Rory Doyle 73, Ryan Donkin 74, and Colin McNamara who also had 74 net.
Berrigan
Friday’s winner was Dave Midson (52-15-37) and runner-up was Chris Kelly (45-7.5-37.5).
Chris also won the putting with 12 putts, and ball winner was Gail Browne (44-5-39).
Saturday’s winner was Marianne Whelan (51-15.5-35.5), and runner-up was Joe Nicholls (47-10.5-36.5).
Beau Walliss won the putting with 12 putts and ball winner was Chris Kelly (45-7.5-37.5).
Sunday’s winner was Chris Kelly with 35 points, and runner-up was Neil Graham with 33 points.
Ball winners were Lachlan Whelan and Dave Midson, both on 32 points.
This Sunday is stableford, and August 6 is the next Trade Day - Farmers verses Townies - a two person ambrose with a noon tee off. Organise your own partners.
Jerilderie
Sunday was medley stableford, with the winner John Simpson on 38 points and runner-up Luke Keating on 37 points.
Ball comp winners were Greg Collier (36 points) and Ian Taylor (35).
NTPs: 7th Greg Collier, 13th Ian Taylor 15th (second shot) Ian Taylor 16th Mick Pitt.
Jerilderie will be hosting the Western Riverina District Golf Association 4BBB Mixed Tournament on Sunday, August 6.
