All five shows were booked out and the crowd that travelled far and wide all fell in love with the Adamms Family.
Directed by Helen Dickie and assisted by Tamara Graham, the Berrigan Amateur Dramatic Society show brought Charles Addams’ delightfully ghoulish characters to life in a way that was both hilariously entertaining and unexpectedly heart-warming.
Standout performances kept the laughs rolling and the story moving, with each cast member perfectly embodying their wonderfully weird character – from Gomez’s charming eccentricity to Wednesday’s withering deadpan delivery.
The detailed set design and intricate costumes completed the visual feast, while the front-of-house team ensured audiences were well looked after with the kind of delicious catering BADS is famous for.
At the conclusion, Riley Nolan presented Matt Hansen with an appreciation plaque for his many years service to BADS.
Matt has been in several plays, directed plays and was president for a number of years.
The BADS committee sincerely thanks the community for its support of this year’s production and looks forward to working on the 2026 show.
