Local members of Victoria Police lined Welsford St outside Shepparton Police Station on Monday in respect to their fallen colleague Neal Thompson, whose funeral was held the same day.

Detective Leading Senior Constable Thompson, 59, was one of two members fatally shot when 10 officers arrived at a Porepunkah property to execute a search warrant on August 26.
The second slain officer, 35-year-old Senior Constable Vadim De Waart-Hottart, was buried on Friday, September 5.
A third officer was also wounded.
The accused killer, 56-year-old Desmond Filby, otherwise known as Dezi or Desmond Freeman, remains at large.
