The internal election followed the company’s AGM, at which Brendan Barry and Troy Mauger were confirmed as board members.
Mr Snowden, a shareholder director, was appointed to the board in November 2017, and previously held the chair position from 2017 to 2021.
He said it is an honour to be in the role again and that he looks forward to continuing the great work undertaken by his predecessor, Noel Baxter.
Mr Baxter was not re-elected to the board and his term ended at the AGM.
During the board meeting proceedings, shareholder director Lachlan Marshall was re-elected as deputy chair.
He has been on the board since October 2021, and was elected deputy chair in June last year.
The board comprises five shareholder directors - Mr Snowden, Mr Marshall, Mr Barry, My Mauger and Steven Fawns - and two independent directors, Robert Burbury and Trisha Gorman.
“The company would like to thank outgoing Directors Noel Baxter and Ryan Gleeson for their service to the company and its shareholders over the past five years,” Murray Irrigation said.
