Greater Shepparton City Council has opened a new asbestos disposal point at Cosgrove Landfill, designed to safely dispose of small amounts of packaged, non-friable asbestos waste. The Bureau of Meteorology’s long-range forecast shows most of Australia has at least an 80 per cent chance of above-average temperatures this autumn.
