A mobile COVID-19 testing clinic will be in Jerilderie tomorrow, and will be testing between 9.45am and 2.30pm.
MLHD invites anyone with any respiratory symptoms such as fever, shortness of breath, dry cough or sore (scratchy) throat to call the COVID hotline to book in for a test.
Latest figures released this morning suggest there have been 5,833 people tested for Coronavirus in the MLHD to date.
There has been no advance in the number of positive cases for more than two weeks.
Of the 45 cases confirmed in MLHD, 42 have recovered. The remaining active cases are in the Federation and Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council areas.
There has been one death in the MLHD due to the virus, with the elderly Federation resident confirmed to have contracted the disease after returning from overseas.

There are no more remaining active cases of Coronavirus in the Southern Riverina.
Only two local government areas within the Murrumbidgee Local Health District have active cases, with 42 people now recovered.
Active cases include one in Cootamundra-Gundagai Regional Council and one in the Narrandera Shire Council area.
There was no increase in the number of cases identified overnight.
A total of 45 people have tested positive in MLHD since testing began, spread over 12 local government areas.
Five Berrigan Shire residents have since recovered, along with all three people testing positive in Murrumbidgee Council.
To date, MLHD has conducted 5,145 tests for COVID-19.

There are still no new positive Coronavirus cases in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District
Only seven of the 45 people who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District are still actively fighting the virus.
In total, 3287 COVID-19 tests have been conducted in the MLHD.
The Berrigan Shire has had a total of four people recover from the virus with only one case still yet to recover.
Murrumbidgee Council area continues to remain virus free after all three previous positive cases have recovered.

UPDATE: Wednesday, April 22
There are still no new positive Coronavirus cases in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, with just 12 still fighting the virus.
Today's figures show 3089 COVID-19 tests have been conducted with a total of 45 positive cases.
The majority of cases are in those aged between 20 and 29 with a total of 17 cases.

UPDATE: Monday, April 20
No new cases of Coronavirus were reported in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District throughout the weekend.
Of the 45 cases, there have been 33 recoveries, and none of the 12 with the virus are hospitalised.
There has also been no increase on the two positives in the Campaspe Shire region of Victoria.

The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District remains at 45 with 33 recoveries.
There have been 2825 tests conducted in the MLHD with five of the positive cases hospitalised for further care.

UPDATE: Friday, April 17
There has been one further case of COVID-19 identified in a resident of Murrumbidgee Local Health District, bringing the total number of Murrumbidgee Local Health District residents testing positive to 45.
The person is a resident of Albury who has returned from overseas and is isolating in a Sydney hotel.
One further person has recovered from the illness overnight, with 32 now recovered.
As of 9.30am, MLHD says there are no probably cases of Coronavirus in the district.
Thursday, April 16
There have been no increases in Coronavirus cases in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District since Saturday.
Even more positive is that new statistics show that 31 of the 44 people testing positive in the region have now recovered from the illness.
In Greater Hume, Griffith City, Hay Shire, Hilltops Council, Snowy Valleys Council Area and Murrumbidgee Council, the recoveries have brought each area back to having no active COVID-19 cases.
And no increase means there are still no active cases in the Edward River Council area.
MLHD local government areas with remaining active cases are Albury City (three of an original seven), Berrigan Shire (two of five), Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council (two, with no recoveries yet), Federation (three of seven), Narrandera Shire (one, no recoveries) and Wagga (two of 10).
There has also been no advance in the number of cases diagnosed by our Victorian neighbours. Campaspe Shire’s count remains on two.
To date, 2592 tests have been conducted in the MLHD region.
UPDATE: Wednesday, April 15
27 of the 44 who tested positive for Coronavirus in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District have now recovered.
Today's figures show there have been no increases in the number of people testing positive for Coronavirus, with 2539 tests conducted in the region so far.
Four people have required hospitalisation, and there was one Coronavirus related death in Albury earlier this month.
The majority of the 44 positive cases have been recorded in the 20-29 year-old age group (16 cases).
The 60-69 years and 70-79 year-old age groups have nine positive cases each.
There are four confirmed cases in the 40-49 year age group, and three each in the 30-39 and 50-59 age groups.
There have been no confirmed cases in the 0-9 and 10-19 year-old age groups.
The majority of positive cases are in females, with 27 women testing positive compared to 17 men.
UPDATE: Tuesday, April 14
The Coronavirus recovery rates continue to increase in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, with 25 of the 44 testing positive now free of the illness.
In Greater Hume, Griffith City, Hay Shire and Murrumbidgee Council, the recoveries have brought each areas back to having no active COVID-19 cases.
This morning's updates figures show there have been no increases in the number of people testing positive for Coronavirus, with 2528 tests conducted in the region so far.
Four of the 44 testing positive have required hospitalisation, and there was one Coronavirus related death in Albury earlier this month.
Monday, April 13
The total number of positive COVID-19 results remains at 44 after two additional cases were identified over the Easter long weekend.
Of the 44 positive cases confirmed by the health district so far, yesterday’s update shows 25 of them have recovered.
All three people testing positive in Murrumbidgee Council have recovered, with one of the five people testing positive in Berrigan Shire recovered.
In the Albury council area, four of seven people testing positive for Coronavirus and three of seven in the Federation council area have also recovered from the virus.
Data has revealed there are now no cases in the Snowy Valleys council area after the one person with the virus made a recovery.
Greater Hume’s and Griffith City’s positive cases have also been reduced to zero.
There have been seven recoveries in Wagga, bringing the case numbers down to three.
To date, 2508 people have been tested for COVID-19 in the MLHD.

This is the fifth day in a row there have been no new cases.

There have been no new COVID-19 cases in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District for a third day in a row.
As of 8am, there were a total of 42 COVID-19 cases and one death caused by the virus.

For the second day in a row, there have been no further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
As of 8am on Monday, April 6, there were a total of 42 cases and one death caused by the virus in the MLHD.
There are currently six positive COVID-19 cases in the Albury City local government area, five in Berrigan Shire, one in Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council Area, seven in Federation, two in Greater Hume, three in Griffith City, one in Hay Shire, two in Hilltops Council, three in Murrumbidgee Council, one in Narrandera Shire, one in Snowy Valleys Council Area and ten in Wagga Wagga City local government areas.
The MLHD COVID-19 Hotline has also changed its hours of operation, which came into effect today.
The hotline is now open seven days a week, from 7am until 9pm.

There has been no further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District as of 8 am on Sunday, April 5.
This was the first 24 hours without any cases since March 21, with the first case in the MLHD being identified on the Sunday, March 22.

There have been two further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District taking the total number of positive COVID-19 results to 42.
The 42 cases excludes one resident of Victoria who was isolating in NSW.
The two new cases are both in the Berrigan Shire local government area, taking the total cases in Berrigan to 5.
UPDATE: Friday, April 3
A 74-year old female patient who had acquired COVID-19 overseas has died in Albury overnight.
There was however just one new case of COVID-19 in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
This brings the positive cases to 41, including one Victorian resident who is currently isolating in NSW.
The new case is in the Wagga Wagga City local government area, bringing the total cases in that area to 10.
MLHD data has revealed this new case was contracted overseas by a person aged between 30 and 39.
UPDATE: Thursday, April 2
There has been four further cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District taking the total number of positive COVID-19 results to 40.
The new cases include one in the Berrigan Shire local government area, two in Hilltops Shire LGA and one in the Snowy Valleys Council Area.
As of 8am on Paril 2, there had been 1814 tests conducted for COVID-19 in the MLHD.
Positive cases include six in the Albury City local government area, three in Berrigan Shire, one in Cootamundra Gundagai Regional Council Area, seven in Federation, two in Greater Hume, three in Griffith City, one in Hay Shire, two in Hilltops Shire, three in Murrumbidgee Council, one in Narrandera Shire, two in Snowy Valleys Council Area and nine in Wagga Wagga City.
All cases are in those aged between 20 to 79.
UPDATE: Wednesday, April 1
A member of the Hay community who recently tested positive for COVID-19 does not have the virus as a second test comes back negative.
This brings the total amount of positive cases in the Hay Shire local government area to one.
"The initial pathology report indicated a positive result detected at ‘low level’. Low level results may represent either low level infection, a recent past infection or in some cases may be a non-specific finding. Therefore, the laboratory conducted a second test which confirmed a negative result," an MLHD spokesperson said.
Overnight, there were an additional two cases confirmed in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District bringing the total to 36. These were in the Berrigan Shire and Federation local government areas.
Data revealed by MLHD shows the majority of the cases are in those between 20 and 29. This includes eight cases for females and four for men in the MLHD.
The next highest categories are those aged 60-69 (eight cases) and those aged 70 to 79 (eight cases).
Other cases are in those aged 30 to 39 (two cases) , 40 to 49 (three cases) and 50 to 59 (three cases).
There have been a total of 1749 tests conducted in the MLHD.
UPDATE, Tuesday, March 31
Another four people in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District have tested positive for Coronavirus, bringing the total to 35.
There are still no positives registered in the Edward River Council region.
The additional cases include an additional three people in the Wagga Wagga City local government area (bringing the total to nine) and the first positive in Narrandera Shire.
Data revealed by MLHD suggests that 30 of the regional cases are likely to have contracted the virus overseas.
One is suspected to have picked it up after travelling interstate, and four are considered to be local transmissions.
The age group most highly represented in the figures is the 20 to 29 year-old age group, with 11 cases. Seven people testing positive are in the 70 to 79 year-old age group and eight in the 60 to 69 year-old age group.

These included six cases in the Albury City local government area, one in Berrigan Shire, one in Cootamundra-Gundagai, six in Federation, two in Greater Hume, three in Griffith City, two in Hay Shire, three in Murrumbidgee Council, one in Snow Valleys Shire and six in Wagga Wagga City.
The majority of the cases notified were diagnosed after travelling overseas or being in contact with a confirmed case.
Patients who have experienced mild to moderate symptoms are in self-isolation to ensure they do not transmit the virus. They are being managed at home with the support of their GP and a daily check up with local health services.
There are currently three cases who are more unwell and have been admitted to an appropriate local hospital.

As of 8am on March 29, there were six cases in the Albury City local government area, one in Cootamundra-Gundagai, six in Federation, two in Greater Hume Shire, three in Griffith City, one in Hay Shire, two in Murrumbidgee Council and five in City of Wagga Wagga.
One person is being treated in hospital, and the other 25 are in self isolation with support of Public Health Unit.
All cases notified were diagnosed after travelling overseas or being in contact with a confirmed case.

There have been a further seven cases of COVID-19 identified in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District taking the total number of positive results to 20.
As of 8am on March 27 there were xix cases in the Albury City Local Government Area, one in Cootamundra-Gundagai, three in Griffith City, four in Federation, four in Wagga Wagga City and Two in Greater Hume.
"All cases notified were diagnosed after travelling overseas or being in contact with a confirmed case," An MLHD spokesperson said.
"Patients who have experienced mild to moderate symptoms are in self-isolation to ensure they do not transmit the virus. They are being managed at home with the support of their GP and a daily check up with local health services. Those who are more unwell may be admitted to an appropriate local hospital.
"Australia has very strong privacy laws which do not allow the release of individual personal and health information to the public. The release of such personal details contradicts public health ethical principles."

Thirteen positive Coronavirus tests have now been confirmed in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District region.
The first positive test was confirmed on Sunday, in the Albury region, and another nine were announced by Wednesday morning.
Another three were added to the list yesterday.
None of the confirmed tests have been recorded in the immediate local area.
The positive tests are in the Albury City, Cootamundra-Gundagai, Griffith City, Federation, Wagga Wagga City and Greater Hume local government areas.
As of yesterday, there were two positive tests confirmed by Echuca Regional Health.
One is an Echuca resident and the other is a Moama resident.

An additional nine cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District, but none are in the Edward River Council region.
The new cases are located in the Albury, Griffith, Federation, Cootamundra-Gundagai and Wagga Wagga local government areas.
It takes the total number of COVID-19 cases in the local health district to 10 as of 5pm yesterday.
MLHD said all confirmed cases were diagnosed after travelling overseas or being in contact with a confirmed case.
“All patients have experienced mild to moderate symptoms and are in self isolation to ensure they do not transmit the virus. They are being managed at home with the support of their GP and a daily check up with local health services,” an MLHD spokesperson said.
“The MLHD Public Health Unit interviews the person to determine their movements while they were infectious. Where individuals are identified as close contacts, the Public Health Unit directs these contacts to self-isolate for 14 days after they were last in contact with the case.
“Reducing contact between people unless absolutely necessary, especially those in our population who may be more vulnerable or susceptible to the illness because of age or weakened immunity, is critical to slowing the spread and impact of COVID-19.”

Murrumbidgee Local Health District confirmed one positive result of has been returned from 538 people tested for COVID-19 in the Murrumbidgee Local Health District.
NSW Health advised a 41 year old male who recently returned home from a trip abroad has tested positive.
The patient was interviewed to identify potential contacts. Anyone who has been in contact with this patient will be notified.
The patient is in self isolation and has taken measures to ensure he does not transmit the virus.
