For several weeks, Victorian Matthew Lawson’s catch cry “hello everyone, hope you’re well“ has been beaming daily from The Newell Highway.
He is on a journey by foot from Melbourne to Brisbane to raise awareness for Jab Injuries Australia - a community organisation recording official vaccine injury stories.
The 45 year-old left his Melbourne home on July 17 and made his way through the Southern Riverina last week.
He aims to complete his journey to Queensland within 60 days.
Mr Lawson said he decided to hit the road because he felt sharing his views about COVID-19, lockdowns and the vaccine processes were being censored online.
Mr Lawson’s aim was to complete 30km per day and camp every night on his way.
However, the support he has received has blown him away, with people opening their homes to him and his small support crew every night for much-needed physical care and rest.
