The Finley Regional Care Auxiliary ladies have had a very busy time.
The street stall conducted last Friday was extremely successful, and the group would like to express their grateful thanks to everyone who supported the fundraiser in any way.
The first prize pamper hamper valued at $500 was won by Chris Kelly, while Carol Kennedy took out the second prize pamper hamper valued at $300.
Maria McCaw was the lucky winner of the third prize $50 Essential Hair & Beauty voucher.
As though the hard work of conducting the street stall wasn’t enough, these generous ladies took time to also visit the Finley Regional Care facility to put together some beautiful flower arrangements for Mother’s Day, for the entertainment and enjoyment of the residents.
The ladies have been doing a flower arranging course at the Finley TAFE and were keen to put their theory into practice.
They were thankful to all those who donated flowers and foliage for the project at Finley Regional Care.

Members of the Finley Art Network Group hope all mothers in the community had a wonderful day on Sunday.
The Mother’s Day raffle was drawn on Saturday and the winner of the beautiful basket of goodies was Heather Tabe.
Winner of the second prize of a box of chocolates and a lovely bunch of silk roses, made by Rose (one of the group’s members) was Teri Bevan.
The organisers would like to thank all the townspeople and visitors who called into the stall to purchase tickets.
This is one of the major fundraising events that keeps the group operating.
Numbers are down slightly at the moment and new members would be made very welcome.
This is an opportunity to explore art talent in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, so why not give it a try?
An invitation is also extended to members of the community to call in, browse the work carried out by the artists, in particular the exhibition of works by Graham Falconer which is still going.
You may even be treated to a cup of tea or coffee!
