Lights judging begins

All you have to do is enjoy the displays at the decorated homes and businesses, and then cast your vote for the best decorated property.

A link to a survey voting form will go live on the Jerilderie Tidy Towns Facebook page today.

Votes will be accepted until December 19.

Prefer to vote the traditional way with pen and paper? Forms will also be available from the Jerilderie council office or Jerilderie library.

In Berrigan, judges for the Berrighan Lights Up Christmas Spirit competitions will be out and about tonight to select the winners.

There are three prize categories in Berrigan - Best Lights Display House, Best Decorated House and Best Christmas Display Business.

Both home categories boats Berrigan Dollars prizes, redeemable at Berrigan and District Development Association businesses.

First prize in both categories is $150, second is $75 and third is $25.

The winners will be announced at the Berrigan Community Breakfast in Chanter St this Sunday.
