Multiple workshops will be hosted across the Barooga, Finley, Tocumwal and Berrigan libraries over the next two weeks, with a focus on arts and craft sessions.
There will be a visit from a children’s book author and illustrator, who will guide local youngsters through the creative process.
In the craft sessions, children will colour in pencil cases and make ‘danglies’.
The cost is $3 per craft, and children under 8 need to be supervised by an adult.
Session times are as follows:
• Barooga - Today, July 1 and Wednesday, July 8, both at 10.30am.
• Finley - Wednesday, July 8 and Wednesday, July 15, both at 10.30am.
• Tocumwal - Thursday, July 9 and Thursday, July 16, both at 10.30am.
• Berrigan - Thursday, July 9 and Thursday, July 16, both at 10.30am.

It’s perfect for kids who love reading, writing and using their imagination.
Participants will create brave warrior characters, build their own adventure story, and learn how to write an epic fight scene.
