Collections will take place at any time during the allocated week per town, and bulky and green waste may be collected separately.
Residents are reminded to place items out before 8am on the Monday, but not earlier than one week prior.
Collection days are as follows:
• Jerilderie - from Monday, October 13.
• Coleambally - from Monday, October 20.
• Darlington Point - from Monday, October 27.
Each item left for collection should weigh less than 30kg, and be able to be lifted by two people.
Loose materials should be tied in bundles or packed in sturdy boxes (not in plastic bags).
Piles must be kept clear of footpaths, roads and driveways.
Bulky and green waste should be in separate piles, with neither exceeding two cubic metres (about the size of a standard 6x4 trailer load).
Before placing items out for collection, residents are encouraged to think about whether they can be reused, donated or sold.
Senior or disabled residents who would like assistance moving their rubbish are welcome to contact council’s office for support.
A full list of what can and cannot be collected is available on council’s website.
