Our scripture speaks to us about the importance of gathering together.
Just as no man is an island, we the people of God need each other.
God warns us not to forsake meeting together because it’s together we can achieve God’s will in our region.
We will never become all God created us to be in isolation.
One of the main reasons is that we need each other’s encouragement to continue in the faith.
Life is full of ups and downs, and in the valleys of life we need the prayers and the encouragement of fellow believers to get us through the hard times.
Church provides a space for learning about God, connecting with fellow believers, and experiencing God's presence through corporate worship.
Essentially, the church is a community of believers called to be shaped into the image of Christ and to serve as a light to the world.
This world needs God’s people to shine brightly to light up in this dark world.
If you are someone who once went to church, but now doesn’t, then my prayer for you is that you will seek out a church and try it.
