Holiday break program full of summer fun

Coleambally’s pool party was held Thursday last week, with Jerilderie getting their turn the next day.

Coly and Jerilderie residents celebrated the occasion with giants slip and slides, giveaways, free sausage sizzles and a fully stocked canteen.

The fun is yet to come at Darlington Point, where a free pool party will be held on Australia Day.

Murrumbidgee tourism and events officer Eden Hercus said the pool parties are only one part of the summer fun on offer in Murrumbidgee.

“There are still many exciting free activities over the summer holidays in our three communities,” she said.

“Paint workshops and earring making workshops are available in Jerilderie, Coleambally and Darlington Point.

“There are also free activities and movies in the Jerilderie Library over January.”
