Australia's oldest living cameleer, John Wilkinson, met up with two of his mates, Rodney Sansom and Phil Gee at the Barellan Good Old Days Festival.
Known as Wilko, the 105 year-old was born in April 1921 and lives in Leeton.
He married Jo in 1949 and they farmed in South Australia.
Wilko was a cameleer from 1976 to 2018, making his last trek on a camel across the Simpson Desert at the extraordinary age of 96 in 2018.
It brought the curtain down on an incredible 30-year association with camels and cameleering.
He accompanied Andrew Harper OAM, Outback Camel Company owner/operator and Deniliquin-local, on many Simpson Desert crossings.
Wilko is one of Australia's oldest veterans, if not the oldest, having fought in the New Guinea campaign in World War II.
