“This will be of tremendous assistance as plans are in hand to paint the pool this year as well as other extensive maintenance to be carried out over the season,” Kate said.
Members of the Community Help Group who operate the shop are volunteers, and profits from sales are distributed to many local organisations.
With Christmas approaching fast, now is a good time to call into the shop in Endeavour St and check out the great range of festive items.

The Finley Lions Club Pavilion at the showgrounds was filled to capacity on Sunday for the Can Assist 70th anniversary celebrations.
A great afternoon was organised by the local branch with a glass of bubbles on arrival, a superb afternoon tea thanks to Jenny Philpot and her helpers and some very interesting guest speakers.
Visitors travelled from the surrounding area, including a group from Yarrawonga especially for the occasion.
The event proved to be a huge success both socially and financially including a substantial raffle, the results of which are: First prize of 2-night accommodation in Yarrawonga won by Chris Kortum who was also lucky enough to win the second prize of a handmade blanket. Jess Jackson won the third prize of a pink Smeg toaster
The organisers would like to thank all those who contributed in any way, including
Berrigan Pharmacy, Berrigan Bakehouse, Federal Hotel Berrigan, Royal Hotel Berrigan, Bizzy Scissors Berrigan, Tuppal Hotel Finley, Finley IGA, Margaret Singleton, Jen and Warwick Douglass, Boomerang Hotel Albury, Southern Riverina Scents - Chelsea Tanner, Postie Fashions - Jen Hynes.
