Footy fever at Toc Public

Team colours were worn with pride and boasting rights were on the line at Tocumwal Public School’s Footy Colours Day last week.

The songs were sung, a long kick competition was held and an afternoon of tabloid sports capped off the last day of term three.

Organised by the SRC representatives and run by Year 6 students, the colours day was a fun and active way to end the term.

Winners of the long kick competition were: Kindergarten – Leah Davies and Harvey Matters; Year 1 – Porsha Bird and Oliver Morse; Year 2 – Evelyn Crawford and Max White; Year 3- Kobi Jones and Patrick Taylor; Year 4 – Maya Daggett and Angus Kruizinga; Year 5 – Mackenzie Morse and Henry Watmore; Year 6 – Taylah Dixon and Archie Chellew.

H Watmore and A Matters showed passion for their clubs at the Footy Colours Day, ahead of the weekend's semi final between the two teams.
