Cobram put on another 100 runs in 18 overs to reach 372, where they declared.
The Cats went in to bat, and there were fireworks early with a huge down-the-ground six from Jono Cattell.
Cougar McGrath was the main contributor with 43 runs, but the Cats were bowled out for 73.
It marked the end of a tough season for Finley, but the young Cats enjoyed the challenge of A-grade cricket.

Saturday saw Finley C-grade head to Cobram to play for a spot in the grand final.
After losing the toss, Finley was sent into bat.
Finley’s batting innings did not start great with Alister Wells bowled first ball of the innings to bring Marcus Anderson to the crease.
Luckily, the cool heads of Lachlan Wells (15) and Marcus (12) got some runs on the board for Finley before both were dismissed LBW.
Murray Urquhart (3) was not at the crease for long after a good catch saw him dismissed to have Finley 4/49.
Some older cool heads in Russell Anderson (20) and Anthony King (17) saw Finley start to make a good total before King was trapped LBW.
Not long after, Russell was run out by a good bit of fielding from one of the Cobram juniors.
The big hitter, Lenny Dattoli, got the runs flowing quickly for Finley after he was dropped on five.
He went on to make 37 not out with some help from Luke Keating (9) and Cameron Arnold (8), getting Finley’s total to 139 at the break.
After a quick break, Finley set out in the field to defend a good total of runs.
Starting with King, it wasn’t long before a wicket was taken to have Cobram 1/1.
Jackson Tooke came on from the other end to keep Cobram slow scoring.
The fall of wickets slowed, and Cobram started to pile on some runs before Alister trapped Cobram’s in-form batter, Sukhdeep Singh, LBW for 35.
The scores were pretty even at the drinks break, with Cobram 3/47.
With some tight-line bowling, Murray Urquhart took a couple of quick wickets to have Finley in control.
Unfortunately for Finley, Cobram seemed to have the answers with some cool headed batsmen slowly eating away at the score with quick singles and a few boundaries to make the game very interesting.
After a long afternoon in the field, Cobram eventually chased down Finley’s total with eight balls left in the day.
This ended the Cats’ season, but everyone involved should be proud of their year.
