Organiser Vanessa Kydd would like to thank the many collectors who worked so hard to achieve this wonderful result.
Thanks also to the many business houses in Finley who always give so generously; and of course, the members of the local community.
Terry Koschel was ready and waiting for Gary Carr and Tiarna Giddings when they called on him for a contribution, as he has a personal interest and appreciation of the Royal Children’s Hospital.
Terry has a medical condition which has required treatment from a very early age.
His journey began in Mt Eliza and ended up with him attending the Children’s Hospital from 1966 until 1980.
Terry is only one of many locals who have received life changing treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Anne Lee, Ros Lockhart, Kaylene Dawe, Megan Hay and (front) Eloise Hay following the Easter Sunday Sunrise service.
The annual Easter Sunrise Ecumenical Service was well attended on Sunday morning, and what a magnificent setting the Finley Lake was for such a moving occasion.
Most Christian denominations were represented and treated to a short skit emphasising the true meaning of Easter.
The sun rising over the water and the active bird life demonstrated yet another great facility Finley can be proud of.
The organisers thanked those present and invited everyone to attend the lovely, cooked breakfast held at the Uniting Church Hall following the service.

Members of the Finley RSL Sub-branch would like to thank the many ticket sellers and the community for the support given to the recent Easter Egg raffle.
Greg Pyle was the lucky winner of the hamper of Easter eggs and Myra Cowell was happy to have the small tray of chocolates and eggs delivered to her.
