A wide range of members of the community, including school children, gathered at Finley’s Memorial Park last Friday to take part in the Remembrance Day Service.
At 11am on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of each November, Australia pauses to remember all those who have served and those who have made the supreme sacrifice to give our country the freedom we have today.
Finley RSL Sub-branch president Jeff Ward would like to thank all those who were able to attend the service, and the Finley branch of Fire and Rescue NSW for the sounding of the siren for the minute of silence.
