The Wesley Young Adults Mission, sponsored by the Coleambally Uniting Church, came to Coly to put on a youth event at the football stadium.
More than 100 children attended, and were led in praise and worship, shared Bible teaching.
They were also provided with a day of sports, fun and wide variety of activities including archery, band and circus tricks.
The Uniting Church ladies and other volunteers prepared lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea. The food was scrumptious to say the least.
The main message to the young people was centred around the creation story.
They were taught how the garden of Eden was destroyed by the fall of humankind.
After being expelled from the garden, people were separated from God.
God set about putting his rescue plan into operation. He sent his only son into the world to die on the cross.
God made a way for all his children to come back and live with him.
They emphasised that God is With Them, he cares for them and wants to be part of their lives. Such a simple message but a transforming one.
They included powerful object lessons the children will never forget.
